Cary Kottler
Project Development Manager
Prior to joining Clean Line, Cary Kottler worked as a corporate attorney for Vinson & Elkins, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, project development and private equity investments. His completed transactions ranged in value from $5 million to over $4 billion and encompassed many sectors of the renewable energy industry, including wind, solar and geothermal energy. Kottler’s work at V&E involved clients, projects, companies or assets located in more than twenty U.S. states and fifteen countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Caribbean.
Kottler is a director and founding member of Empower Nepali Girls, a non-profit foundation that provides educational opportunities to the most neglected children of Nepal.
Kottler earned a BA in political science from Rice University while captaining the rugby team, and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
