Claire focuses on the Plains and Eastern Clean Line by assisting with regulatory filings, public outreach efforts, legislative work and interconnection efforts.
Prior to joining Clean Line, Claire worked with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma when she developed Project Falvmmichi, a domestic violence prevention program. Project Falvmmichi addresses domestic violence in elementary school classrooms through messages presented by high school mentors and is now in the 10 ½ counties that make up the Choctaw Nation in southeastern Oklahoma. Claire graduated from Harvard in May 2010 where she wrote a honors thesis on the history of economic aid from the Choctaw Nation, specifically examining the provision of aid to the Irish during the Potato Famine in 1847 less than 20 years after the Trail of Tears.
