Diana Coggin
Project Development Manager
Diana Coggin is the Project Development Manager dedicated to the Grain Belt Express Clean Line, a high voltage direct current transmission line, which will transport up to 3,500 MW of wind energy from western Kansas to southeastern Missouri and beyond. In this role, Diana coordinates and reconciles stakeholder interests, collaborates with project vendors and serves as a public representative for the project with various constituencies in the broader community.
Prior to joining Clean Line, Diana gained manufacturing expertise at General Electric and transitioned into energy development at Horizon Wind Energy. As a member of the Operations Management Leadership Program at GE Aviation, Diana held roles including Manufacturing Quality Engineer and Lean Leader at various aircraft engine manufacturing and assembly plants. As a Six Sigma Black Belt at GE Energy, Diana improved processes and reduced costs in the aero-derivative gas turbine supply chain. Diana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. While at Harvard, she focused her elective studies on energy and energy efficiency, and she interned at Horizon Wind Energy.
