Mark Lawlor

Mark joins Clean Line with extensive experience in wind development, transmission policy and legislative affairs. Mark’s previous position was Project Manager for Horizon Wind Energy. He was responsible for developing projects in the Kansas market and managing legislative and regulatory affairs. While at Horizon, Mark developed a 201 MW wind farm and a pipeline of projects exceeding 1,000 MW. In 2008, Mark was appointed to the Kansas Wind Working Group by the governor. As the Chair of the Wind Coalition’s SPP Committee, Mark has been managing legislative and regulatory affairs for the trade organization for the past two years. Prior to joining Horizon, Mark was a founding partner in a law firm specializing in renewable energy law. Mark has a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law with a Certificate in Environmental Law, a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
