John Kuba participates in the development efforts of all four of Clean Line Energy’s transmission line projects as an environmental specialist. In this role, John supports the development teams through the process of integrating environmental considerations with engineering constraints and siting options for each transmission line. John monitors the progress of each project to ensure that routing, construction, and other aspects of development are consistent with environmental policy and necessary mitigation and biological conservation measures. John also works to keep project teams apprised of federal and state environmental law and conservation procedures.

John draws on extensive experience in biological consulting and renewable energy in his role as Clean Line’s environmental specialist. Prior to joining Clean Line, John was a Project Manager and Lead Biologist for Turner Biological Consulting, where he was involved in projects that managed environmental and conservation considerations for various development projects, including operational wind farms. John holds a BS in Animal Science with a minor in Biology from Tarleton State University. John is a member of the Southwest Association of Naturalists, the Texas Wildlife Association, the Coastal Conservation Association, and the Texas Ornithological Society.
