Sarah Bray

Sarah Bray is responsible for managing community outreach, stakeholder events, and media relations, as well as supporting legislative affairs. Sarah manages a team of internal staff, public relations firms and environmental public involvement consultants - all working towards siting and permitting Clean Line’s interstate transmission line projects with the least amount of impact to land use and to the environment.  Upon joining Clean Line, Sarah worked to establish a cohesive brand for the family of Clean Line projects.  In addition, Sarah and her team manage the creation of all communications materials and maintain Clean Line’s online presence.

Prior to joining Clean Line Energy in June 2010, Sarah led corporate communications at Horizon Wind Energy. While at Horizon, she was instrumental in building the communications department from one person to a six person working team responsible for internal communications, maintaining the Horizon/EDP brand integrity, community outreach, and media relations. Sarah previously served as an account manager for Houston-based Elmore Public Relations, where she was responsible for media relations and event planning efforts for several nonprofit organizations including the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, Fund for Teachers, and the Houston Symphony.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Saint Thomas.  Sarah currently serves on the American Wind Energy Public Affairs Steering Committee and is on the Board of Art League Houston, a nonprofit organization with a mission to cultivate awareness, appreciation, and accessibility of contemporary visual art within the community for its cultural enrichment.
