This week, the Grain Belt Express Clean Line team was in Kansas meeting with over 150 local vendors and potential suppliers to the Grain Belt Express Clean Line project. Clean Line Energy is committed to using local and in-state contractors, service providers, and materials from the project area states whenever possible during the construction of our projects. The Grain Belt Express Clean Line team will be back in Kansas again from January 28 – February 1st to host public open house meetings in Kansas. The team will hold local business meetings and public open houses in Missouri and Illinois at a later date.
Clean Line strives to work closely with landowners and community members as we determine the routes for our transmission line projects. By hosting public meetings early in the route development process, we are able to meet with members of the community face to face and hear directly from them. Our routing team incorporates the feedback and input received at the public meetings in our decision making process. If you are unable to attend any of our meetings in Kansas, you can submit comments to the Grain Belt Express Clean Line team by clicking here.
